Snowbird Season Is Open
The parks have published their winter monthly rates. We checked every one against the park's own website — and November is the month to book, before the January rate steps and the January rush.
Most RV parks hide their monthly rates behind a phone call. The ones on this page don't. Every rate below was read off the park's own official website or rate sheet and stamped with the date we verified it — 294 verified published monthly rates across the directory, including 29 in Arizona alone. And there's a pattern worth knowing before you roll: at park after park, the published rate steps up in January. Arrive in November and you lock the lower number, you get your pick of monthly sites, and the multi-month discounts — the ones that drop a $500 month to $375 — start counting in your favor.
Arizona — the deepest verified market
Winter monthly rates in Arizona run from $425 a month in Quartzsite (88 Shades RV Park; January steps to $550) to resort pricing in Tucson and Mesa. Stay longer and it gets cheaper: Superstition Shadows in Apache Junction drops from $500 for one month to $375 a month on a four-month stay, and in Yuma, Adobe Village prices 4–6 months at $565 against $615 for shorter stays. Quartzsite's La Posa LTVA even publishes a $180 permit that covers the whole September 15–April 15 season.
Texas — the Winter Texan value belt
The lowest verified winter monthly rates in America are in the Rio Grande Valley: $345–$375 a month at Bentsen Palm in Mission, $349 at McAllen Mission. The Gulf Coast and Hill Country fill in from $360 to $899 — Rockport from $500, Corpus Christi from $595.
Florida & the Gulf
Florida's verified winter rates start at $725 a month (Good Life RV Resort, Bartow, January–March) — and its most honest lesson is the Keys: $1,399 a month in December at Sugarloaf Key becomes $3,149 in January. On the Alabama Gulf Coast, Azalea Acres drops to $422 a month on stays of two months or more, and Gulf State Park publishes $1,100 for November–December before its January step to $1,200.

Desert Southwest & the mild corners
Las Vegas starts at $624 a month, Pahrump at $625, and St. George, Utah — mild winters, red-rock views — runs $500–$999 with a $699 winter special in Hurricane. Southern California splits in two: $750–$1,050 in the high desert and Palm Desert, $1,550 and up on the San Diego coast.

Why November (the booking window)
- Rates step up in January at 88 Shades (Quartzsite), Sugarloaf Key, Gulf State Park, Rincon Country (Tucson) and more — the published schedules say so, in writing.
- Multi-month discounts reward an early start: $500 → $375 in Apache Junction, $825 → $608 in Yuma, $526 → $422 on the Alabama coast.
- Monthly sites are finite. Parks publish a rate for a limited pool of long-stay sites; January arrivals shop what's left.
Every rate on this page is the park's own published figure, verified and date-stamped. Rates change and parks fill — confirm the current rate and availability with the park before you travel. Park doesn't publish a rate? We list it as call-ahead rather than guessing — browse those too.
